I've been seeing and working on all kind of documentaries especially since I was a comissioning editor at ARTE. I've seen documentaries in all its stages since the very first idea of a project until the delivery. I've been involved in documentaries inside a TV station, in a production company, as a tutor and as a producer myself. I've accompanied lots of professionals around the world in the developping and financing of their projects. I've assisted in the editing, the writing and I've done other language versions... I've sold ideas, projects and finished documentaries....so I've pretty much touched everything around documentaries. I've also been involved in some fiction projects for TV. I like to share experiences and I've moderated pitching sessions, round tables and I've been invited as a jury member to festivals... I love good documentaries and believe in them finding an always growing audience. Now moving forward with Social Media Strategy and Crossmedia-projects. It's compelling!

At the Trans-pyrenean co-production Forum, I have directed the workshops together with another tutor, preparing the fiction and documentary projects to be presented in front of a French-Spanish panel of commissioning editors. I have also moderated the presentations and Q&A with the panel.

As a CE at ARTE's headquarter I have been responsable for productions, most of them documentaries produced by independant producers: it started from evaluating ideas and projects, following the production in all its stages from the first script over the shooting to the post-production. I have been involved in the programming, the translations, dubbing, subtitling and promoting of the finished films. I have been organizing International events, leading International coproductions and I have been attending the International festivals and markets.

Personal Assistant to Deputy Programm Director at ARTE G.E.I.E.

January 1996 - September 1997

As personal assistant to the Deputy Programm director and Head of ARTE's Theme Evenings, I had to organize events to promote ARTE abroad. Among these events was an ARTE-exhibition at the MT&R (Museum of Radio and Television) in New York, at the Goethe-Institut in Prague and others... I also assisted the commissioning editors in all theirs tasks related to the Head of department.

I started working at Pro Sieben when I still went to university (and finished my studies in parallel). At the beginning I have been assisting the comissioning editor for TV series in all daily tasks. Later I started to built up a database for our animation series, went to the editing room to survey the cutting of the series, wrote press texts and was involved in the programming of the series.
